作者	吳蓓上海交通大學理學碩士，擔任過大學物理教師13年。2001年赴英國愛默生學院學習華德福（Waldorf）教育，2003年回國。留學期間的日記集《英格蘭的落葉》由三聯書店出版，翻譯的兩本華德福教育書籍《學校是一段旅程》和《解放孩子的潛能》， 2006年6月由人民文學出版社出版。此外，還翻譯出版了兩本聖雄甘地的著作。2005年9月在天通苑創辦了北京第一所華德福家庭式幼兒園。後在房山某幼兒園開辦華德福實驗班。2007年11月，協助3位家長在西三旗楓丹麗舍創辦華德福家庭園。現為北京華德福教育的顧問。
